The very first and thus oldest museum of the Netherlands is found in Haarlem. Aside from its impressive art collection, Teylers Museum is all about science and sharing knowledge.
That, and its monumental authenticity, is why this building is the perfect venue for a meeting, seminar, exclusive dinner or festive reception.
Readings and presentations can be held in the same room where the great intellectuals of the 19th century gave their lectures: the stylish historic Gehoorzaal (‘Auditorium’). It’s worth mentioning that all furniture and decorations are original remnants from those times. A toast to celebrate the work anniversary of a colleague or business partner can be held at both the old and new wings of the museum. And how does an exquisite dinner among the art objects sound? It certainly won’t be an ordinary meal. Teylers Museum has its own indoor catering company and will call upon top chef Michel Lambermon (famous for his local restaurants ToAmuse, Truffels and Ratatouille) for exclusive dinners.
